Terms of Use

These terms are the agreement between you and Zeno ("we", "us") for using Zeno. By using Zeno you accept them.
Your account
You need an account to use Zeno, because your streak, progress and leaderboard place belong to it. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old.
What Zeno does, and what it doesn't
Zeno blocks apps you choose, at times you choose, using Apple's Screen Time. It is a tool for your own focus and habits. It is not a medical service, a therapy, or a parental-control or monitoring service, and it makes no promise about your wellbeing or productivity.
Blocking depends on Apple's Screen Time working as intended on your device. A block can be interrupted by iOS updates, restores, or changes you make in iOS Settings.
Zeno Plus
Zeno Plus is an auto-renewing subscription, sold monthly or yearly.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- It renews for the same term unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period.
- Cancel in App Store settings at any time. Plus then stays active until the end of the paid period.
- A free trial, if offered, becomes a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel before. Any unused part of a trial is lost if you subscribe earlier.
- Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may change; a change never applies to a period you've already paid for.
Refunds are handled by Apple under its own terms, not by us.
Gems, keys and other in-app items
Gems, keys, streak freezes and avatar items have no cash value, can't be exchanged for money, and exist only inside your Zeno account. We may change what they cost or what they do as the app develops.
Fair use
Don't try to break into other people's accounts, interfere with our servers, reverse-engineer the app beyond what the law allows, or automate play to climb leaderboards. We may suspend accounts that do.
Content you write
Your tasks, block names and avatar are yours. You give us permission to store and show them back to you inside Zeno; nothing more.
Availability
We do our best to keep Zeno running, but we don't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Zeno Plus entirely, we'll refund the unused part of a paid period.
Our liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for anything you missed because an app was blocked or failed to be blocked. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Ending it
You can stop using Zeno and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may end your access if you break these terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, and disputes go to its courts, unless consumer law in your country gives you the right to a local court.
